The city is allowing Residents
who have applied for consideration to park on the east side of Doris Avenue between
Church Street and Finch Avenue these days from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Parking Considerations
are granted ONLY for violations such as: “The three-hour unposted, one hour
limit parking zones and No Parking Anytime” areas. Please observe all other
parking by-laws and there will be NO consideration for offences such as
“No Parking within 9 metres of Intersection, No Standing, No Stopping, Stopping
on Sidewalks, and Parking on Boulevards, Fire Hydrants, Fire Routes, Rush Hour
Routes, and Permit Parking Streets”.
A Parking Consideration does not guarantee Residents will not receive tickets;
however, the parking consideration will give Residents an avenue to have their
parking infractions cancelled provided they have followed the instructions
outlined on the Parking Consideration. If a Resident gets a parking ticket, please
visit the Management Office to obtain the Parking Consideration. There will be no visitor parking on April
23rd to 25th, Visitor Parking spots are available to
Residents on a first come first served basis.
The
parking garage areas will be marked off with colour paper placed on the posts
between the parking stalls. This will
indicate which day which colour area of the garage has to be vacated for the
power washing. Check your parking area
on Friday April 19th, 2024
after 5:00pm to find out which colour notice is posted near your parking
spot and refer to the info below for the day that your vehicle must be out of the
garage. If you do not remove your vehicle from your parking spot, neither the
Corporation nor the contractor will be responsible for any damages to your
vehicle from the power washing.

Tuesday
April 23rd YELLOW section to be cleaned
Wednesday April 24th
BLUE section to
be cleaned (includes visitor parking)
Thursday
April 25th PINK section to be cleaned
Please
do not enter the section of the garage the day where washing is scheduled. It
is dangerous to the workers who may not be able to see or hear your vehicle
over the noisy machinery. Also, you will be responsible for any damage to the
hose or equipment caused by your vehicle.
